Barceló Sancti Petri Resort & Spa is a luxury beachfront complex located on the Atlantic coast in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz. Spread across a 65,000 m² site with a built area of 30,000 m², the project includes a hotel with 200 rooms and suites, as well as 100 serviced chalets.
The architectural design is intricately woven into a lush landscape of subtropical gardens, lakes, streams, ponds, and a network of organically shaped pools. This system fosters a seamless dialogue between built and natural elements, allowing volumes to emerge from the vegetation as if part of the landscape itself.
The stepped geometry and fluid pathways follow the natural slope of the terrain, optimizing views towards the sea and enhancing privacy for each unit. Warm materials, earthy tones, and dense planting contribute to a sensorial atmosphere, creating a unified architectural identity that promotes wellness and offers a deeply immersive experience in nature.
