Located in Abu Dhabi on a 970,000 m² site, Emirates Palace is conceived as a comprehensive masterplan integrating hospitality, residential, and leisure programs in a coastal setting. The design includes a grand palace, a luxury hotel, a marina, a town center, commercial areas, as well as clusters of villas and townhouses arranged around landscaped gardens and waterfront promenades.
The layout is defined by a careful composition of axial perspectives, ceremonial entrances, and domed architectural elements that reinforce spatial hierarchy and a sense of place. Architecture and nature are interwoven through shaded courtyards, canals, and pedestrian boulevards that encourage a slow, immersive experience of the site.
The seafront is animated by the marina and a vibrant commercial promenade, providing both connectivity and a visual dialogue between built form and open water. At every scale, the masterplan aims to offer an environment of balance and refinement, where civic grandeur coexists with intimate residential enclaves and lush green spaces.
