Set within a sprawling expanse in southeastern Spain, the Mar Menor Resort is a large-scale residential enclave meticulously organized around a central golf course. The development comprises 1,150 apartments configured into low-rise blocks, each designed to maximize orientation and vistas toward the landscaped greens and the lagoon of the Mar Menor in the distance.

The architecture responds to the Mediterranean climate with earthy-toned facades, flat roofs, and shaded terraces that soften the solar impact while framing views. Rounded corner volumes and smooth stucco surfaces provide a tactile contrast to the clean horizontal bands of balconies and pergolas. Vegetation is integral to the architectural language, with dense palms and tropical species defining paths, softening the building edges, and reinforcing the resort’s garden character.

Carefully arranged communal green areas stitch together the built masses, fostering a sense of openness and continuity throughout the site. The scale of the project, alongside its emphasis on horizontality and nature integration, defines a resort atmosphere that is both expansive and serene. The project’s cohesive identity relies on a repetition of typologies and a unified palette, establishing a distinct character within the Murcia landscape.
