The crystal queen and the "Red Bull" billionaire will soon move into a dream house in Marbella on the Costa del Sol
Presenter Victoria Swarovski, 30, associates Marbella with magical memories, a feeling of home and security. The legendary “Marbella Club” was her childhood home, where she spent many wonderful holidays with her family. Now she and her boyfriend Mark Mateschitz, 31, want to enjoy their happiness in the celebrity paradise on the Costa del Sol. The couple are building a dream villa in the mountains, and the beauty entrepreneur (“Orimei”) has purchased a property in the exclusive residential complex “The Gallery”, which costs around three million euros.
It is not known how much she actually paid for it, as she is co-marketing the luxury enclave as a brand ambassador and may have received a discount. 33 villas are being built on the mountain plateau, planned by “Villarroel-Torrico”, an architectural firm that has already designed numerous luxury buildings and luxury hotels in the area. The Swarovski property will have four to five bedrooms, several sun terraces and a large garden with palm trees. A highlight is a saltwater infinity pool with a fabulous view of the Mediterranean.
The houses are furnished with furniture from the Italian design company Minotti. All kitchen appliances are from German brand manufacturers, while the bathrooms are fitted with fittings from a US luxury brand.
As the owner, Victoria Swarovski has access to exclusive clubs in the residential complex, which offers the same level of comfort as a 5-star resort – the highest level of luxury for hotels. In addition to the spa, sauna area and fitness studio, there are tennis courts, yoga pavilions, putting greens for golfers and a farmers’ market with organic produce. A private jogging trail leads into Serenity Valley, the “Valley of Serenity”. A concierge service is available around the clock. Offices with state-of-the-art technology are set up in a co-working space. Those who don’t want to cook for themselves are spoilt with sustainable products from the region in a luxury restaurant. The complex is guarded by security staff who have specialised training in personal protection. Only residents and their guests have access.
Construction work has already begun. Celebrity estate agent Smadar Kahana from Engel& Völkers Marbella: “Around a third of the houses have been reserved. Prices start from 2.7 million euros. “Although the couple live in Salzburg and Kitzbühel and have numerous other residences – Mark Mateschitz owns the breathtakingly beautiful South Sea island of Laucala, for example – they will probably spend many weeks a year in their new villa in southern Spain.
One reason is Victoria’s mother Alexandra, who owns a house in Marbella. For the successful TV presenter, being close to her relatives is extremely important. In an interview with BUNTE, she said: “Anyone who knows me knows that I am an absolute family person. My family is my rock. I feel most at home. I also have a very close relationship with my mum and my siblings, and we talk on the phone several times a day and discuss everything. That helps when you’re travelling a lot like me and are out in public. You need a safe haven where you can just be yourself, without any ifs or buts.”
Her boyfriend, who has been in and out of the Swarovski household since he was a teenager because the families have been friends for a long time, enjoys the solidarity of the Glitzer clan. He has no siblings. His father, “Red Bull” founder Dietrich Mateschitz († 78), died of cancer last year. His nuclear family now only includes his mother AnitaGerhardter, 58. Friends say that Mark is very happy that his sweetheart’s family has almost adopted him.
Victoria can hardly wait to move into her new home. The Crystal heiress: “The resort is just the right place to relax, get away from it all and live a healthy and happy lifestyle. It combines luxury with nature. I’m very happy that it will soon be my home. “That almost sounds like the start of a new life with her boyfriend Mark. But her luxury villa is actually far too big for two. The property has enough space for several children’s rooms, so perhaps this will inspire the two of them. Victoria Swarovski knows from her own experience how magical it is to live in the idyllic coastal town of Marbella.
